Vinextenso offers an original, participatory wine activity, ideal for strengthening team spirit while discovering the world of wine in a fun way. The activity takes place in two parts — outdoors, then indoors — for a complete experience combining sensory challenges, collaborative tasks and the pleasure of tasting.
Part one, outdoors: immersion in the world of the vine
The programme begins in the open air, in an authentic vineyard setting, with physical and sensory challenges on the theme of wine. The aim: to call on team spirit, curiosity and precision, while having fun.
Among the activities on offer:
- Blindfold harvest: blindfolded participants must pick grapes as a team. Trust, coordination and communication are the keys to this unusual challenge.
- Black glass challenge: a blind tasting in opaque glasses to identify grape varieties or types of wine by nose and palate alone.
- Must analysis: measuring density and sensory analysis to become familiar with the stages of winemaking.
- Pressing and bottling: a hands-on immersion in the winemaker’s work, to better understand the journey from grape to bottle.
- Collaborative challenge: recreating the company logo with corks or on a champagne riddling rack – a creative and unifying activity.
These outdoor challenges encourage interaction between colleagues, discovery of the world of wine and a real team dynamic.
Part two, indoors: wine games and tasting
After the effort, it is time for concentration and the senses, in a warm setting. The second part of the activity takes place indoors, with a series of fun activities around tasting and wine culture:
- Blind tasting: teams must recognise grape varieties, regions or wine styles without any visual clue.
- Wine quiz: a knowledge game about wine, its history, its terroirs, its appellations… Ideal for mixing general knowledge and competitive spirit.
Teams are ranked according to their combined performance across all the challenges. The activity ends with a podium and a prize-giving in a convivial atmosphere.
Extend the experience with a tasting dinner
To round off a day dedicated to sharing and discovery, Vinextenso offers to extend the activity with a tasting dinner. This convivial moment lets you savour carefully selected food & wine pairings, in a warm setting, at a partner estate or venue.
